LSU cruised to victory on Saturday, running Auburn out of the gym and running up a 104-80 score at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
LSU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.5-point spread as favorites.
Cameron Thomas had 27 points for LSU and Trendon Watford chipped in with 18 points. Javonte Smart had 6 assists for them, while Trendon Watford was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Auburn got 26 points from Sharife Cooper in a losing cause and another 13 points from Allen Flanigan. Allen Flanigan contributed 5 assists for them, while Javon Franklin had 7 rebounds.
LSU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
LSU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 42-36.
LSU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Georgia. Auburn will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Florida.
