The battle between Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Houston Baptist didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Houston Baptist was handed a 94-70 defeat on Saturday at Sharp Gymnasium.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi got 16 points from Jalen White and another 15 points from Nolan Bertain. Jalen White contributed 5 assists, while De'Lazarus Keys cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Houston Baptist got 17 points from Pedro Castro in a losing cause and another 14 points from Za-Ontay Boothman. Brycen Long contributed 3 assists for them, while Pedro Castro had 6 rebounds.
