Recap - Marist Defeats Columbia 82-67
Marist grabbed a 82-67 win over Columbia on Friday, behind a 17-point effort from Raheim Sullivan at Francis S. Levien Gymnasium.
Marist won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.0-point spread as favorites.
Ricardo Wright had 16 points for Marist and Jao Ituka chipped in with 10 points. Tyler Saint-Furcy had 3 assists for them, while Matt Herasme was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Columbia got 15 points from Liam Murphy in a losing cause and another 14 points from Josh Odunowo. Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa contributed 7 assists for them, while Cameron Shockley-Okeke had 6 rebounds.
Marist led at halftime, 46-43.
Marist won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-22.
Marist looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Princeton. Columbia will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Binghamton.
