UNLV Falls 73-51 to UCLA - Recap
UCLA cruised to victory on Saturday, running UNLV out of the gym and running up a 73-51 score at Thomas & Mack Center.
Bettors who backed UCLA were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -10.5 at sportsbooks.
Jules Bernard had 18 points for UCLA and Tyger Campbell chipped in with 15 points. Jaime Jaquez Jr. had 5 assists for them, while Peyton Watson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
UNLV got 15 points from Bryce Hamilton in a losing cause and another 12 points from Donovan Williams. Jordan McCabe contributed 5 assists for them, while Keshon Gilbert had 4 rebounds.
UCLA led at halftime, 37-23.
UCLA won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-21.
UCLA looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Colorado. UNLV will aim to get back on the winning track at SMU.
