Recap - LSU Defeats Texas A&M 70-64
Brandon Murray scored 21 points leading LSU to a 70-64 victory over Texas A&M at Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Wednesday.
LSU did not, however, defeat Texas A&M against the spread, which closed at -8.5 at most sportsbooks.
LSU got 16 points from Eric Gaines and another 14 points from Tari Eason. Brandon Murray contributed 3 assists, while Tari Eason cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Texas A&M got a 20-point performance from Quenton Jackson, who was supported by 18 points from Andre Gordon. Marcus Williams had 3 assists in a losing cause for Texas A&M, while Henry Coleman III grabbed 7 rebounds.
LSU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
LSU had a 35-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, LSU takes its act on the road to face TCU looking for another win. For Texas A&M, they head home to face South Carolina.
