Recap - Yale Defeats Columbia 84-59
The battle between Yale and Columbia didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Columbia was handed a 84-59 defeat on Saturday at Francis S. Levien Gymnasium.
Yale was a favorite by -14.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Matt Knowling had 19 points for Yale and Azar Swain chipped in with 17 points. Jalen Gabbidon had 6 assists for them, while August Mahoney was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 4 boards.
Columbia got 12 points from Jaden Cooper in a losing cause and another 9 points from Noah Robledo. Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa contributed 8 assists for them, while Patrick Harding had 9 rebounds.
Yale was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Yale won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 27-22.
Yale looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Pennsylvania. Columbia will aim to get back on the winning track at Harvard.
