Indiana Defeats Arkansas-Little Rock 87-68 - Recap
Indiana grabbed a 87-68 win over Arkansas-Little Rock on Wednesday, behind a 20-point effort from Race Thompson at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
Indiana did not, however, defeat Arkansas-Little Rock against the spread, which closed at -28.5 at most sportsbooks.
Indiana got 13 points from Jalen Hood-Schifino and another 11 points from Jordan Geronimo. Xavier Johnson contributed 10 assists, while Race Thompson cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Arkansas-Little Rock got 20 points from D.J. Smith in a losing cause and another 14 points from Myron Gardner. Myron Gardner contributed 6 assists for them, while Myron Gardner had 9 rebounds.
Indiana was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Indiana won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-31.
Next game, Indiana takes its act home to face Jackson State looking for another win. For Arkansas-Little Rock, they head on the road to face Miami-Ohio.
