Butler got a 16-point performance from Manny Bates, who was supported by 14 points from Jayden Taylor. Eric Hunter Jr had 4 assists in a losing cause for Butler, while Manny Bates grabbed 10 rebounds.
Penn State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Penn State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-35.
Penn State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Furman. Butler will aim to get back on the winning track vs. St. Francis-Pennsylvania.
