Dayton got 19 points from DaRon Holmes II and another 16 points from Mustapha Amzil. Mike Sharavjamts contributed 8 assists, while DaRon Holmes II cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Southeastern Louisiana got 20 points from Christian Agnew in a losing cause and another 14 points from Boogie Anderson. Boogie Anderson contributed 5 assists for them, while Brody Rowbury had 4 rebounds.
Dayton won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 29-19.
Next game, Dayton takes its act on the road to face Virginia Tech looking for another win. For Southeastern Louisiana, they head home to face Belhaven.
