Recap - Akron Defeats Morgan State 65-59
Akron grabbed a 65-59 win over Morgan State on Tuesday, behind a 17-point effort from Enrique Freeman at James A. Rhodes Arena.
Akron got 16 points from Xavier Castaneda and another 11 points from Nate Johnson. Greg Tribble contributed 4 assists, while Enrique Freeman cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Morgan State got 18 points from Isaiah Burke in a losing cause and another 10 points from Malik Miller. Malik Miller contributed 3 assists for them, while Malik Miller had 8 rebounds.
Akron was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Next game, Akron takes its act on the road to face Western Kentucky looking for another win. For Morgan State, they head home to face Utah Valley.
