LIU Downs Purchase College 95-58 - Match Report
The battle between LIU and Purchase College didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Purchase College was handed a 95-58 defeat on Thursday at Steinberg Wellness Center.
LIU got 22 points from Jacob Johnson and another 21 points from Marko Maletic. R.J. Greene contributed 9 assists, while C.J. Delancy cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Purchase College got 15 points from Mark Morgan in a losing cause and another 9 points from Matthew Phillips. Trey Skeete contributed 4 assists for them, while Matthew Phillips had 6 rebounds.
LIU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
LIU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 49-30.
