California Falls 97-60 to USC - Recap
The battle between USC and California didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as California was handed a 97-60 defeat on Thursday at Galen Center.
USC was a -16.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
USC got 30 points from Drew Peterson and another 22 points from Boogie Ellis. Drew Peterson contributed 6 assists, while Drew Peterson cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
California got 13 points from Monty Bowser in a losing cause and another 11 points from ND Okafor. Monty Bowser contributed 3 assists for them, while Kuany Kuany had 5 rebounds.
USC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
California had a 30-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
USC heads into a battle against Stanford. California, meanwhile, will have their next action against UCLA.
