Jahbril Price-Noel scored 19 points leading Wagner to a 62-57 victory over NJIT at Wellness and Events Center on Sunday.
Wagner got 10 points from Keyontae Lewis and another 9 points from Javier Ezquerra. Brandon Brown contributed 3 assists, while Jahbril Price-Noel cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
NJIT got 12 points from Kevin Osawe in a losing cause and another 12 points from Raheim Sullivan. Souleymane Diakite contributed 2 assists for them, while Kevin Osawe had 13 rebounds.
Wagner was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Wagner won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-32.
Next game, Wagner takes its act on the road to face Army looking for another win. For NJIT, they head on the road to face Cincinnati.
