The battle between Cal State-Bakersfield and La Sierra didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as La Sierra was handed a 90-49 defeat on Tuesday at Icardo Center.
Cal State-Bakersfield got 16 points from Travis Henson and another 15 points from Modestas Kancleris. Naseem Gaskin contributed 7 assists, while Modestas Kancleris cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
La Sierra got 17 points from Brandhon Thomas in a losing cause and another 12 points from D'Lano Beckles. Uriel Lejtman contributed 3 assists for them, while D'Lano Beckles had 4 rebounds.
Cal State-Bakersfield was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
