Washington Falls 83-76 to Nevada - Recap
Kenan Blackshear went off for 31 points and added 6 rebounds leading Nevada to a 83-76 win over Washington on Sunday at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Nevada won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +5.5-point spread as underdogs.
Nevada got 13 points from Jarod Lucas and another 13 points from Nick Davidson. Kenan Blackshear contributed 5 assists, while Tre Coleman cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Washington got a 19-point performance from Keion Brooks Jr., who was supported by 14 points from Sahvir Wheeler. Sahvir Wheeler had 5 assists in a losing cause for Washington, while Keion Brooks Jr. grabbed 11 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Nevada were victorious, as the score was 41-31 at the break.
Nevada had a 34-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
