Recap - LSU Defeats Lamar 87-66
LSU cruised to victory on Thursday, running Lamar out of the gym and running up a 87-66 score at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Jalen Cook had 17 points for LSU and Carlos Stewart chipped in with 16 points. Jalen Cook had 5 assists for them, while Will Baker was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Lamar got 14 points from Ja'Sean Jackson in a losing cause and another 12 points from Jakevion Buckley. Chris Pryor contributed 3 assists for them, while Adam Hamilton had 7 rebounds.
LSU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
