Recap - Wisconsin-Milwaukee Defeats Northern Kentucky 73-72
BJ Freeman scored 26 points and added 11 rebounds for a double-double, leading Wisconsin-Milwaukee over Northern Kentucky, 73-72, on Saturday at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee did not, however, defeat Northern Kentucky against the spread, which closed at -2.0 at most sportsbooks.
Erik Pratt had 13 points for Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Kentrell Pullian chipped in with 9 points. BJ Freeman had 5 assists for them, while Langston Wilson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Northern Kentucky got 20 points from Marques Warrick in a losing cause and another 15 points from Trey Robinson. Michael Bradley contributed 8 assists for them, while LJ Wells had 6 rebounds.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee had a 40-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
