St. John's Defeats Quinnipiac 96-73 - Recap

The battle between St. John's and Quinnipiac didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Quinnipiac was handed a 96-73 defeat on Saturday at Carnesecca Arena.

St. John's was a -22.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

RJ Luis Jr. had 24 points for St. John's and Brady Dunlap chipped in with 20 points. Deivon Smith had 10 assists for them, while RJ Luis Jr. was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

Quinnipiac got 17 points from Ryan Mabrey in a losing cause and another 12 points from Paul Otieno. Savion Lewis contributed 8 assists for them, while Paul Otieno had 7 rebounds.

St. John's trailed at halftime, 39-36.

St. John's looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Wagner. Quinnipiac will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Maine.
