Purdue vs Marshall Final: 80-45 - Recap

Purdue blew out Marshall on Saturday, running up the score in a 80-45 win at Mackey Arena.

Purdue won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -20.5-point spread as favorites.

Trey Kaufman-Renn had 18 points for Purdue and Myles Colvin chipped in with 13 points. Braden Smith had 9 assists for them, while Raleigh Burgess was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 5 boards.

Marshall got a 9-point performance from Nate Martin, who was supported by 6 points from Jalen Speer. Dezayne Mingo had 2 assists in a losing cause for Marshall, while Nate Martin grabbed 7 rebounds.

Purdue was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Marshall won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-28.

Purdue looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the NC State. Marshall will aim to get back on the winning track vs. South Carolina State.
