North Dakota Falls 87-81 to Eastern Washington - Recap

Eastern Washington got 20 points from Andrew Cook en route to a 87-81 victory over North Dakota on Wednesday at Reese Court.

Eastern Washington did not, however, defeat North Dakota against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks.

Emmett Marquardt had 16 points for Eastern Washington and Nic McClain chipped in with 15 points. Nic McClain had 5 assists for them, while Vice Zanki was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

North Dakota got 24 points from Treysen Eaglestaff in a losing cause and another 20 points from Amar Kuljuhovic. Deng Mayar contributed 1 assists for them, while Amar Kuljuhovic had 9 rebounds.

Eastern Washington trailed at halftime, 42-41.

North Dakota won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-31.

Next game, Eastern Washington takes its act on the road to face South Dakota State looking for another win. For North Dakota, they head home to face Weber State.
