The battle between Louisville and Bellarmine didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Bellarmine was handed a 100-68 defeat on Tuesday at KFC Yum! Center.
Louisville got 26 points from Terrence Edwards Jr. and another 21 points from Kasean Pryor. Chucky Hepburn contributed 5 assists, while James Scott cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Bellarmine got a 29-point performance from Ben Johnson, who was supported by 15 points from Billy Smith. Dylan Branson had 4 assists in a losing cause for Bellarmine, while Curt Hopf grabbed 5 rebounds.
Louisville was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Louisville won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-22.
