Recap - North Dakota Defeats UMKC 76-72

North Dakota got 21 points and 10 rebounds from Mier Panoam en route to a 76-72 victory over UMKC on Saturday at Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.

North Dakota won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -2.0-point spread as favorites.

Treysen Eaglestaff had 15 points for North Dakota and Eli King chipped in with 13 points. Eli King had 4 assists for them, while Mier Panoam was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

UMKC got a 20-point performance from Cameron Faas, who was supported by 17 points from Jayson Petty. Melvyn Ebonkoli had 2 assists in a losing cause for UMKC, while Jamar Brown grabbed 11 rebounds.

North Dakota trailed at halftime, 36-33.

North Dakota had a 34-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

North Dakota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the South Dakota. UMKC will aim to get back on the winning track vs. South Dakota State.
