Gonzaga cruised to victory on Saturday, running Portland out of the gym and running up a 105-62 score at Chiles Center.
Gonzaga won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -24.5-point spread as favorites.
Gonzaga got 24 points from Ben Gregg and another 20 points from Michael Ajayi. Ryan Nembhard contributed 13 assists, while Michael Ajayi cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Portland got a 18-point performance from Max Mackinnon, who was supported by 17 points from Chris Austin. Vincent Delano had 5 assists in a losing cause for Portland, while Vincent Delano grabbed 5 rebounds.
Gonzaga led at halftime, 49-30.
Gonzaga won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-20.
Gonzaga looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Oregon State. Portland will aim to get back on the winning track at Loyola Marymount.
