Radford Highlanders vs Clemson Tigers Recap - Clemson Wins 79-51
The battle between Clemson and Radford didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Radford was handed a 79-51 defeat on Thursday at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson got 16 points from Chauncey Wiggins and another 15 points from Dillon Hunter. Jake Heidbreder contributed 3 assists, while Ian Schieffelin cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Radford got a 10-point performance from Zion Walker, who was supported by 9 points from Jarvis Moss. Brandon Maclin had 2 assists in a losing cause for Radford, while Brandon Maclin grabbed 7 rebounds.
Clemson was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Clemson had a 35-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Clemson takes its act on the road to face San Francisco looking for another win. For Radford, they head on the road to face Chicago State.
