Duquesne Falls 84-58 to DePaul - Recap

The battle between DePaul and Duquesne didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Duquesne was handed a 84-58 defeat on Friday at Wintrust Arena.

Bettors who backed DePaul were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -5.5 at sportsbooks.

DePaul got 18 points from Isaiah Rivera and another 16 points from David Skogman. Conor Enright contributed 8 assists, while David Skogman cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.

Duquesne got a 13-point performance from Maximus Edwards, who was supported by 11 points from Jake DiMichele. Jakub Necas had 4 assists in a losing cause for Duquesne, while Jakub Necas grabbed 5 rebounds.

DePaul was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

DePaul won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-23.

DePaul looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Eastern Illinois. Duquesne will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
