VMI Keydets vs Samford Bulldogs Wrap - Samford Wins 81-68
Jaden Brownell scored 20 points leading Samford to a 81-68 victory over VMI at Pete Hanna Center on Thursday.
Samford earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -18.0-point spread.
Samford got 14 points from Rylan Jones and another 12 points from Collin Holloway. Rylan Jones contributed 5 assists, while Collin Holloway cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
VMI got 26 points from Rickey Bradley Jr. in a losing cause and another 26 points from Augustinas Kiudulas. Tan Yildizoglu contributed 3 assists for them, while Augustinas Kiudulas had 5 rebounds.
Samford was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Samford had a 35-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
