Campbell vs Elon Final: 76-58 - Recap
Campbell got 23 points from Colby Duggan as they ran past Elon 76-58 on Thursday at John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center.
Campbell won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.0-point spread as underdogs.
Tasos Cook had 14 points for Campbell and Jasin Sinani chipped in with 11 points. Nolan Dorsey had 8 assists for them, while Nolan Dorsey was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.
Elon got 12 points from Sam Sherry in a losing cause and another 11 points from TJ Simpkins. TJ Simpkins contributed 2 assists for them, while Matthew Van Komen had 10 rebounds.
Campbell was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Campbell had a 37-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Campbell takes its act home to face North Carolina A&T looking for another win. For Elon, they head on the road to face College of Charleston.
