Maine Defeats Brown 69-67 - Recap
Jaden Clayton scored 18 points leading Maine to a 69-67 victory over Brown at Paul Bailey Pizzitola Sports Center on Sunday.
AJ Lopez had 16 points for Maine and Kellen Tynes chipped in with 12 points. Jaden Clayton had 4 assists for them, while Quion Burns was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Brown got 18 points from Kino Lilly Jr. in a losing cause and another 15 points from Landon Lewis. Kino Lilly Jr. contributed 5 assists for them, while Malcolm Wrisby-Jefferson had 5 rebounds.
Maine led at halftime, 33-30.
Brown had a 29-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Maine takes its act on the road to face Quinnipiac looking for another win. For Brown, they head home to face New Hampshire.
