USC vs San Jose State Final: 82-68 - Recap
USC grabbed a 82-68 win over San Jose State on Wednesday, behind a 20-point effort from Terrance Williams II at Galen Center.
USC did not, however, defeat San Jose State against the spread, which closed at -17.0 at most sportsbooks.
USC got 20 points from Chibuzo Agbo and another 14 points from Wesley Yates III. Saint Thomas contributed 9 assists, while Matt Knowling cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
San Jose State got a 25-point performance from Josh Uduje, who was supported by 18 points from Will McClendon. Robert Vaihola had 5 assists in a losing cause for San Jose State, while Robert Vaihola grabbed 9 rebounds.
USC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
USC won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-26.
USC looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Grambling State. San Jose State will aim to get back on the winning track at UTEP.
