Dixie State Falls 90-68 Against Grand Canyon - Game Recap
The battle between Grand Canyon and Dixie State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Dixie State was handed a 90-68 defeat on Thursday at Global Credit Union Arena.
Grand Canyon won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -16.5-point spread as favorites.
JaKobe Coles had 19 points for Grand Canyon and Ray Harrison chipped in with 13 points. Collin Moore had 5 assists for them, while Duke Brennan was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Dixie State got 20 points from Madiba Owona in a losing cause and another 10 points from Beon Riley. Hakim Byrd contributed 3 assists for them, while Beon Riley had 7 rebounds.
Grand Canyon was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
