Chicago State Falls 82-37 Against San Francisco - Game Recap
The battle between San Francisco and Chicago State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Chicago State was handed a 82-37 defeat on Saturday at War Memorial Gymnasium.
San Francisco got 28 points from Tyrone Riley IV and another 10 points from Ndewedo Newbury. Malik Thomas contributed 5 assists, while Marcus Williams cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Chicago State got a 8-point performance from Jalen Forrest, who was supported by 6 points from Matthew Robinson. Gabe Spinelli had 2 assists in a losing cause for Chicago State, while Quincy Allen grabbed 7 rebounds.
San Francisco was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
San Francisco won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 47-30.
San Francisco looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Memphis. Chicago State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Eastern Kentucky.
