Recap - Southern Defeats Florida A&M 91-57
The battle between Southern and Florida A&M didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Florida A&M was handed a 91-57 defeat on Saturday at F.G. Clark Activity Center.
Southern got 15 points from DaMariee Jones and another 11 points from Puoch Dobuol. Cam Amboree contributed 5 assists, while Brentay Noel cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Florida A&M got a 19-point performance from Sterling Young, who was supported by 7 points from Trey Lewis. Shaqir O'Neal had 2 assists in a losing cause for Florida A&M, while Saiyd Burnside grabbed 5 rebounds.
Southern was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
