Indiana Defeats Michigan State 71-67 - Recap

Malik Reneau scored 19 points leading Indiana to a 71-67 victory over Michigan State at Breslin Center on Tuesday.

Indiana won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +11.5-point spread as underdogs.

Oumar Ballo had 14 points for Indiana and Luke Goode chipped in with 10 points. Anthony Leal had 3 assists for them, while Malik Reneau was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.

Michigan State got 14 points from Jaden Akins in a losing cause and another 13 points from Jase Richardson. Tre Holloman contributed 7 assists for them, while Jaxon Kohler had 7 rebounds.

Indiana led at halftime, 32-30.

Michigan State had a 34-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Indiana takes its act home to face UCLA looking for another win. For Michigan State, they head on the road to face Illinois.
