SMU blew out Miami on Saturday, running up the score in a 117-74 win at Watsco Center.
SMU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.0-point spread as favorites.
Boopie Miller had 18 points for SMU and Matt Cross chipped in with 17 points. Boopie Miller had 10 assists for them, while Matt Cross was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6 boards.
Miami got 31 points from Matthew Cleveland in a losing cause and another 7 points from Lynn Kidd. Brandon Johnson contributed 3 assists for them, while Lynn Kidd had 5 rebounds.
SMU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
SMU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 29-17.
SMU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Louisville. Miami will aim to get back on the winning track at Stanford.
