Virginia Falls 70-50 Against Louisville - Game Recap
The battle between Louisville and Virginia didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Virginia was handed a 70-50 defeat on Saturday at John Paul Jones Arena.
Louisville was the ATS victor, as they covered the -5.5-point spread as a favorite.
Reyne Smith had 15 points for Louisville and Aboubacar Traore chipped in with 15 points. Chucky Hepburn had 7 assists for them, while Terrence Edwards Jr. was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Virginia got 16 points from Andrew Rohde in a losing cause and another 13 points from Isaac McKneely. Isaac McKneely contributed 4 assists for them, while Taine Murray had 5 rebounds.
Louisville was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Louisville won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-22.
Next game, Louisville takes its act home to face Clemson looking for another win. For Virginia, they head on the road to face California.
