UMass blew out Massachusetts-Boston on Saturday, running up the score in a 86-52 win at Mullins Center.
UMass got 26 points from Malek Abdelgowad and another 11 points from Daniel Rivera. Rahsool Diggins contributed 7 assists, while Malek Abdelgowad cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Massachusetts-Boston got 13 points from Xavier McKenzie in a losing cause and another 13 points from Cameron Perkins. Mark Barrett contributed 3 assists for them, while Cameron Perkins had 6 rebounds.
UMass was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UMass won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 54-24.
