TCU Defeats Baylor 74-71 - Recap
TCU got 17 points from Brendan Wenzel en route to a 74-71 victory over Baylor on Sunday at Foster Pavilion.
TCU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +12.5-point spread as underdogs.
Ernest Udeh Jr. had 16 points for TCU and Vasean Allette chipped in with 13 points. Vasean Allette had 5 assists for them, while Ernest Udeh Jr. was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 15 boards.
Baylor got a 20-point performance from Norchad Omier, who was supported by 18 points from VJ Edgecombe. Robert O. Wright III had 8 assists in a losing cause for Baylor, while Norchad Omier grabbed 5 rebounds.
TCU was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
TCU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-21.
TCU heads into a battle against Kansas. Baylor, meanwhile, will have their next action against Kansas State.
