Tarleton State Falls 91-62 Against Sam Houston State - Game Recap
The battle between Sam Houston State and Tarleton State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Tarleton State was handed a 91-62 defeat on Saturday at Wisdom Gym.
Sam Houston State was a favorite by -4.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Sam Houston State got 15 points from Dorian Finister and another 15 points from Lamar Wilkerson. Brennen Burns contributed 8 assists, while Dorian Finister cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Tarleton State got 17 points from Bubu Benjamin in a losing cause and another 15 points from Chris Mpaka. Jordan Mizell contributed 6 assists for them, while Bubu Benjamin had 10 rebounds.
Sam Houston State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Sam Houston State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-28.
Sam Houston State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Baylor. Tarleton State will aim to get back on the winning track at Florida State.
