Xavier Falls 78-53 to Michigan - Recap
The battle between Michigan and Xavier didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Xavier was handed a 78-53 defeat on Wednesday at Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
Michigan was a favorite by -1.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Danny Wolf had 20 points for Michigan and Vladislav Goldin chipped in with 18 points. Nimari Burnett had 6 assists for them, while Danny Wolf was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.
Xavier got 19 points from Ryan Conwell in a losing cause and another 14 points from Zach Freemantle. Dayvion McKnight contributed 2 assists for them, while Zach Freemantle had 10 rebounds.
Michigan was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Xavier won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-34.
Michigan heads into a battle against Wisconsin. Xavier, meanwhile, will have their next action against South Carolina State.
