Storm vs Lynx Final: 96-69 - Recap

Minnesota was run off the court by the Storm on Friday as Seattle blasted the Lynx 96-69 at Target Center.

Seattle won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 163.5.

Seattle got 23 points from Tina Charles and another 21 points from Jewell Loyd. Gabby Williams contributed 7 assists, while Breanna Stewart cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Minnesota got 18 points from Aerial Powers in a losing cause and another 13 points from Sylvia Fowles. Kayla McBride contributed 3 assists for the Lynx, while Sylvia Fowles had 12 rebounds.

The Storm hit the break winning 45-28 before taking care of business in the second half.

Seattle won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-30.

Seattle heads into a battle against the Aces. Minnesota, meanwhile, will have their next action against Connecticut.
