Mystics vs Dream Final: 109-86 - Recap
The battle between the Mystics and Dream didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Atlanta was handed a 109-86 defeat on Wednesday at Entertainment and Sports Arena.
Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -5.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 163.0.
Elena Delle Donne had 25 points for Washington and Ariel Atkins chipped in with 19 points. Brittney Sykes had 10 assists for the Mystics, while Tianna Hawkins was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Atlanta got 23 points from Cheyenne Parker in a losing cause and another 17 points from Allisha Gray. Danielle Robinson contributed 6 assists for the Dream, while Cheyenne Parker had 8 rebounds.
The Mystics hit the break winning 61-33 before taking care of business in the second half.
Washington won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-32.
