Mercury Fall 90-66 Against Seattle - Game Recap

The battle between the Storm and Mercury didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Phoenix was handed a 90-66 defeat on Saturday at Climate Pledge Arena.

Seattle was the ATS victor, as they covered the -6.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 164.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Seattle got 20 points from Jewell Loyd and another 16 points from Jordan Horston. Skylar Diggins-Smith contributed 11 assists, while Nneka Ogwumike cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.

Phoenix got 18 points from Diana Taurasi in a losing cause and another 11 points from Kahleah Copper. Natasha Cloud contributed 6 assists for the Mercury, while Brittney Griner had 8 rebounds.

The Storm hit the break winning 45-30 before taking care of business in the second half.

Seattle had a 46-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Seattle looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Sparks. The Mercury will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Connecticut.
