Recap - Stampeders Defeat Edmonton 49-6
Ka'Deem Carey tore up the turf for 104 rushing yards on Thursday to lead the Stampeders to a 49-6 win over the Elks at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
The Stampeders were a -4.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 51.5.
Ka'Deem Carey rushed for 104 yards, while Peyton Logan added 45 yards in the win. Malik Henry and Kamar Jorden added 150 and 66 receiving yards respectively.
Sherman Badie rushed for 38 yards for Edmonton, while Kai Locksley added 26 yards. Tre Ford threw for 52 yards for the Elks, while receivers Kai Locksley and Emmanuel Arceneaux had 61 and 61 yards respectively.
Calgary outgained Edmonton 470-287 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-17 by the Stampeders.
The time of possession battle favored Calgary as their offense was on the field for 30:34, longer than the 29:26 of their opponents.
Calgary heads into a Week 6 battle against the Blue Bombers. Edmonton, meanwhile, will have their next action against Montreal.
