Recap - Alouettes Defeat Ottawa 47-21

The Alouettes got a 3-TD performance from Cody Fajardo as Montreal handed Ottawa a 47-21 defeat on Thursday at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

Montreal was the ATS victor, as they covered the -7.0-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 48.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Cody Fajardo completed 28 of 35 pass attempts for 393 yards and 3 TDs for the Alouettes in the win.

Ryquell Armstead rushed for 26 yards for Ottawa, while Justin Hardy added 16 yards. Dru Brown threw for 292 yards for the REDBLACKS, while receivers Justin Hardy and Dominique Rhymes had 143 and 55 yards respectively.

Ottawa lost the offensive yardage battle to Montreal 490-348 yards in Thursday's game. Montreal had more first downs as that total ended up 26-16.

Ottawa lost the time of possession battle 33:45-26:15, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Montreal looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Argonauts. The REDBLACKS will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Hamilton.
