British Columbia Defeats Edmonton 24-21 - Recap

British Columbia's aerial attack produced 331 yards and the Lions produced a 24-21 victory over Edmonton on Thursday at BC Place.

The Lions won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -6.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Vernon Adams Jr. completed 27 of 38 pass attempts for 331 yards and 1 TDs for the Lions in the win.

Kevin Brown rushed for 40 yards for Edmonton, while McLeod Bethel-Thompson added 29 yards. McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for 247 yards for the Elks, while receivers Dillon Mitchell and Arkell Smith had 81 and 70 yards respectively.

British Columbia outgained Edmonton 423-345 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 28-17 by the Lions.

Edmonton lost the time of possession battle 33:43-26:17, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

British Columbia heads into a Week 5 battle against the Tiger-Cats. Edmonton, meanwhile, will have their next action against Ottawa.
