Stampeders vs Blue Bombers Final: 22-19 - Recap

Calgary earned a 22-19 victory over Winnipeg on Saturday in Week 4 action at McMahon Stadium.

The Stampeders were a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 48.0.

Dedrick Mills rushed for 51 yards, while Tommy Stevens added 9 yards in the win. Marken Michel and Reggie Begelton added 75 and 50 receiving yards respectively.

Chris Streveler rushed for 27 yards for Winnipeg, while Brady Oliveira added 26 yards. Chris Streveler threw for 170 yards for the Blue Bombers, while receivers Nic Demski and Drew Wolitarsky had 54 and 43 yards respectively.

Winnipeg lost the offensive yardage battle to Calgary 308-303 yards in Saturday's game. Calgary had more first downs as that total ended up 21-17.

The time of possession battle favored Calgary as their offense was on the field for 33:13, longer than the 26:47 of their opponents.

Next game, Calgary takes its act on the road to face Montreal looking for another win. For Winnipeg, they head home to face Ottawa.
