Calgary Falls 30-26 to Alouettes - Recap
Cody Fajardo was good for 374 yards through the air on Saturday as the Alouettes got past the Stampeders by a score of 30-26 at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.
Montreal did not, however, defeat the Stampeders against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.5.
Cody Fajardo completed 35 of 42 pass attempts for 374 yards and 2 TDs for the Alouettes in the win.
Peyton Logan rushed for 65 yards for Calgary, while Tommy Stevens added 49 yards. Jake Maier threw for 106 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Marken Michel and B.J. Emmons had 59 and 21 yards respectively.
Calgary was outgained by Montreal 469-278 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-16 by the Alouettes.
Calgary led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:39-29:21 split in that important category.
Montreal heads into a Week 6 battle against the Argonauts. Calgary, meanwhile, will have their next action against Winnipeg.
