Hamilton Defeats Ottawa 37-21 - Recap
Hamilton won 37-21 on Saturday against Ottawa behind a 151-yard receiving performance from Steven Dunbar Jr. at Tim Hortons Field.
Hamilton won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 52.5.
Greg Bell rushed for 99 yards, while Ante Litre added 36 yards in the win. Steven Dunbar Jr. and Shemar Bridges added 151 and 55 receiving yards respectively.
Khalan Laborn rushed for 84 yards for Ottawa, while Justin Hardy added 7 yards. Jeremiah Masoli threw for 183 yards for the REDBLACKS, while receivers Dominique Rhymes and Justin Hardy had 129 and 103 yards respectively.
Hamilton lost the offensive yardage battle to Ottawa 443-434 yards in Saturday's game. Ottawa had more first downs as that total ended up 26-21.
Hamilton led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:46-29:14 split in that important category.
Hamilton looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Argonauts. The REDBLACKS will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Montreal.
