Oklahoma Sooners vs Iowa State Cyclones Wrap - Iowa State Wins 37-30
Breece Hall tore up the turf for 139 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Cyclones to a 37-30 win over the Sooners at Jack Trice Stadium.
Iowa State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +7.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 62.0.
Breece Hall rushed for 139 yards, while Brock Purdy added -2 yards in the win. Xavier Hutchinson and Charlie Kolar added 83 and 66 receiving yards respectively.
T.J. Pledger rushed for 47 yards for Oklahoma, while Seth McGowan added 47 yards. Spencer Rattler threw for 300 yards for the Sooners, while receivers Austin Stogner and Charleston Rambo had 74 and 61 yards respectively.
Oklahoma lost the offensive yardage battle to Iowa State 417-414 yards in Saturday's game. Iowa State had more first downs as that total ended up 23-22.
The time of possession battle favored Oklahoma as their offense was on the field for 33:34, longer than the 26:26 of their opponents.
