Buffalo Defeats Bowling Green 42-17 - Recap
Buffalo got a 301-yard performance from Jaret Patterson as a key part of its 42-17 victory over the Falcons on Tuesday at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
Buffalo did not, however, defeat the Falcons against the spread, which closed at -31.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 57.5.
Jaret Patterson rushed for 301 yards, while Kevin Marks Jr. added 90 yards in the win. Antonio Nunn and Trevor Wilson added 70 and 4 receiving yards respectively.
Andrew Clair rushed for 85 yards for Bowling Green, while Terion Stewart added 42 yards. Matt McDonald threw for 219 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Julian Ortega-Jones and Quintin Morris had 67 and 61 yards respectively.
Buffalo outgained Bowling Green 470-399 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-22 by the Bulls.
Bowling Green led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:22-29:38 split in that important category.
Buffalo heads into a 13 battle against Kent State. Bowling Green, meanwhile, will have their next action against Ohio.
